"HA backups" is a personal app used only by its owner, to let a private Home Assistant installation store its backups in the owner's own Google Drive.
Only the files it creates itself in Google Drive (the drive.file scope). It
cannot see any other files in the account.
Backups go directly from the Home Assistant installation to Google Drive. No data is collected, shared, sold or sent anywhere else, and there are no analytics or tracking.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
